The NIHR School for Primary Care Research currently are running their competition for Studentships and Fellowships via the 8 universities: Birmingham, Bristol, Nottingham, Keele, Manchester, Oxford, Southampton and University College London. Research Seminar Competition 2012 - Three winners were chosen from a very high standard of applications. The committee would like to congratulate the winners and is encouraged to see such quality work is evident throughout the country.

February 2012 -

Public Engagement Grant launched - Applications are currently being invited and the closing date is the 2nd April. Full details are available in Promoting Health Psychology

New Conference Venue - DHP Annual Conference 2012 will be held 5th - 7th September at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool. The wine reception will be at the Beatles Museum with the conference dinner at the Maritime Museum.

Postgraduate Workshop Event - The 2012 event will be held on the 28th & 29th June at the University of Bedfordshire. For details please see the events page.

The DHP recently introduced a Standing Conference Scientific Committee (SCSC) responsible for reviewing and setting the scientific content of conference. For details of members and contact points visit the SCSC page.

PhD studentships - a number of PhD Studentships are currently available that would be of interest to Health Psychologists in training. See studentship page.
